Five years on

The picture above shows the work that has taken place on the site since the first pile was driven in 1958 In 1962 two of the 5 generating units ( 1 & 2 ) were completed.

No's 3 /4 / 5 units were still under construction at that time, eventually all 5 Units produced 1300 MW
